\n• Contribute to hydraulic modelling, hydrology assessments, flood risk assessments, and drainage strategies. \n• Assist in the design of river engineering, SuDS, and natural flood management solutions. \n• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, drawings, and project documentation.
\n• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including environmental, civil, geotechnical, and infrastructure specialists. \n• Participate in client meetings, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination activities. \n• Support project management activities including programme, quality, and budget control.
\n• Contribute to bids, framework opportunities, and business development initiatives where appropriate. \n• Mentor and support junior team members as part of a collaborative team environment. \n\nSkills, Qualifications & Experience\n\n• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
\n• Experience within a consultancy or engineering environment delivering UK-based flood risk or water projects. \n• Working towards or holding professional chartership with ICE or CIWEM is desirable. \n• Experience working with UK water authorities, local authorities, or Environment Agency frameworks would be beneficial.
\n• Full UK driving licence preferred. \n• Eligibility for UK security clearance would be advantageous. \n\nWorking Environment\n\nThis role is based in the North West, with Manchester as the preferred location, although flexibility may be available for other regional offices or hybrid working arrangements.\n\nThe organisation offers a flexible and collaborative working culture, with opportunities to work across a wide range of UK projects and multidisciplinary teams.
