We have built our reputation on advanced recirculating technologies that ensure the highest standards of containment and safety.\n\nNow a proud member of the SDI Group, Monmouth Scientific is recognised as a leading name in clean air solutions, serving a diverse range of sectors including life sciences, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, pathology, forensics, precision engineering, manufacturing, and academic research.\n\nSummary of Duties:\n\nTo Service our full range of products in line with the latest British Standards, including legal (digital) Service paperwork completion\nTo drive nationwide as needed, predominantly Northern England and covering Scotland to represent Monmouth face to face with our customers in a professional, well-presented and courteous manner.\nTo deliver, install, commission, service and keep our wide range of laboratory equipment and Clean Rooms at Customer premises.\nTo provide Customer training during delivery, commissioning & installation of new products.\nTo undergo ongoing product and application training, both internal and external, to maintain individual skills and keep up to date with the latest Standards.\nTo undertake ad hoc duties, tasks or activities required or deemed necessary, as required.\nTo adhere to all Health & Safety policies & procedures issued by the Company.About you:\n\nEssential Key Skills & Person Specification (including but not limited to):\n\nExcellent attention to detail, logical problem-solving skills, and a practical 'attitude.\nHigh personal standards and a 'driven' approach to work, willing to accept responsibility.\nAbility to follow processes and quality-controlled standards of work, in line with Company procedures.\nProficient organisational and workload management skills\nAbility to work flexibly and re-prioritise as required, to meet a continuously changing delivery schedule.\nCalm disposition under pressure, able to make effective decisions and work to tight deadlines.\nPersonable nature, with effective communication and listening skills, able to consult confidently with staff and Customers at all levels.\nTact and diplomacy when on site, with the ability to deal with multiple Customer queries at once.\nGCSE (or equivalent) Grade "C" in English Language and MathematicsEssential / Desirable Skills:\n\nEssential - Industry-related service & installation experience with Bio-cabinets, D.O.P. & KI Testing.\nCompetency in electrical skills, fault finding (18th Edition, qualified, desirable)\nEssential - CSCS Card, IOSH or equivalent, Driving Licence & DBS checks for MOD, Home Office, Nuclear, Schools and Colleges etc.\nDesirable - P601 and Clean Room Validation an advantage.Benefits:\n\n25 days holiday to start with 1 x extra day a year after five years to a max 30 days\nFully expensed company van and top range test equipment\nup to date industry training courses\nOver time, overnight allowance and a good weekend paymentAdditional Information:\n\nThis Job Description is provided to assist the Employee in understanding the principal duties of the role.
