Commercial Finance Manager

An excellent opportunity for a commercially minded qualified accountant to join a growing multi site business in a newly created role focused on financial planning, analysis and decision support.\n\n Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in providing financial insight across the business, helping to shape strategic decisions through high quality analysis, forecasting and performance reporting. This is a visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence the direction of the finance function.\n\n Key responsibilities will include:\n\nOwnership and development of the budgeting and forecasting process\nPreparation of monthly board and management reporting packs\nFinancial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision making\nDevelopment of KPI reporting and performance dashboards\nAnalysis of business performance, trends and key drivers\nBusiness partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders across the organisation\nSupporting investment appraisals, business cases and growth initiatives\nIdentifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial visibility\nProviding insight and recommendations to support senior management decision making\nAd hoc analysis and project work as requiredThe successful candidate will be:\n\nACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified\nAble to demonstrate strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills\nComfortable presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders\nCommercially aware with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insight\nAdvanced Excel user with strong analytical capabilitySalary: £65,000 - £75,000\n\n IPS Finance has 45 years’ experience in the Yorkshire accountancy recruitment market.
