Electrician

We are actively recruiting an Electrician with supervisory experience, to work for our client who are an M&E specialist contractor within Electrical installations, and Solar PV for residential, commercial, educational and industrial projects.\n\nDue to continued growth, they are now seeking a skilled Lead Electrician to join their team combining hands on skills with man management.\n\nJob Summary:\n\n * Reporting into the Electrical Director, you will oversee projects and be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems.\n\n * The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical work meets industry standards and safety regulations while working collaboratively with other departments to deliver high-quality projects.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Carry out electrical installations, testing, inspections, and fault finding in accordance with BS7671 regulations and industry best practices.\n\n * Accurately complete and submit electronic certifications (MEIWC, EICR, EIC) within required timeframes.\n\n * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, maintaining full compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.\n\n * Maintain clear and consistent communication with the office/operations team to ensure efficient project delivery.\n\n * Utilise software for job scheduling, progress updates, and completion of digital paperwork.\n\n * Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client queries and ensuring satisfaction with all completed work.\n\n * Participate in monthly CPD activities and attend review meetings to maintain NICEIC Accreditation.\n\n * Perform monthly calibration of test equipment to uphold accuracy and compliance.\n\n * Keep accurate records of all testing, inspections, and completed tasks.\n\n * Contribute to a positive team environment and approach challenges with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.\n\n * Follow all health and safety regulations while working on site.\n\nRequirements\n\n * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.\n\n * Supervisory experience\n\n * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (2382).\n\n * Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or 2394/2395).\n\n * Full UK driving licence and own set of standard tools.\n\n * ECS Gold Card (preferred, not essential).\n\n * Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills.\n\n * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.\n\n * High attention to detail and strong customer service skills
