Foreman

A well-established and highly regarded main contractor, is currently looking to appoint an experienced Foreman to support the delivery of an 8-storey residential project in Manchester.\n\nThis is a key site-based role, working closely with the Project Manager to drive the internal finishing stages of the scheme through to completion.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOversee and manage day-to-day internal finishing activities on site\nCoordinate subcontractors across trades such as drylining, joinery, M&E, and decorating\nMonitor progress and ensure works are aligned with project timelines\nMaintain strict health & safety compliance across all activities\nCarry out quality inspections, snagging, and handover preparation\nIdentify and resolve site issues in a timely manner\nProvide regular updates to site managementThe Candidate:\n\nProven experience as a Foreman on similar projects\nStrong background in internal finishing stages,\nExcellent organisational and communication skills\nAbility to read drawings and manage multiple trades effectively\nSMSTS or SSSTS certification requiredBuilding Careers UK are specialist in Construction and Property recruitment.
