Graduate/ Intermediate Fire Engineer

Role Purpose\nA Junior / Intermediate Fire Engineer in an early-career consultant who supports the delivery of fire engineering solutions across a range of projects within the built environment. Working as part of a wider project team, you will assist in delivering fire strategies and technical outputs at different stages of the project lifecycle, while developing your technical knowledge and professional experience.\nYou will work closely with senior engineers, contributing to project delivery, while building the skills needed to take on increasing responsibility over time.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nSupport the delivery of fire engineering projects across a variety of sectors and building types\nAssist in the preparation of fire strategies, reports, and technical analyses\nContribute to design reviews and provide fire safety input during design and construction stages\nWork collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including architects and contractors\nAssist in ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard\nSupport senior engineers in client meetings and responding to technical queries\nActively contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvements\nRequirements\n\nDegree qualified (BEng, MEng, or MSc in Fire Engineering or related discipline)\nUnderstanding of fire engineering principles, codes, and standards\nStrong communication and teamwork skills\nProactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop\nDesirable\n\nWorking towards membership with a professional body (e.g. IFE)\nAwareness or experience of CFD modelling and fire/smoke analysis\nExposure to consultancy or construction environmentsSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
