Head of Sales | Building Materials \n\n£80,000 to £90,000 + Bonus + Package UK Wide\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of sales to join a growing business within the building materials sector. This role offers the chance to take full ownership of national sales performance and play a key role in driving commercial growth across the UK.\n\nThe Head of Sales will lead and develop a field based sales team, setting clear direction, building capability, and ensuring consistent delivery against sales targets. This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior leadership to shape strategy, identify new opportunities, and strengthen the company's position in the market.\n\nAs Head of Sales, you will be responsible for managing key customer relationships, developing new business, and ensuring a strong and consistent approach across all regions.

You will also play a key role in embedding a positive, high performance culture within the sales team.\n\nKey responsibilities of the Head of Sales include: \n\nLeading, coaching, and developing a national sales team \nDriving revenue growth and improving overall commercial performance \nBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with key customers \nIdentifying and developing new business opportunities \nSupporting negotiations and managing key commercial agreements \nWorking closely with internal teams to ensure a consistent customer experience \nMonitoring performance and implementing strategies to improve results \nContributing to the wider business strategy and growth plansRequirements for the Head of Sales: \n\nExperience in a Head of Sales or senior sales leadership role \nBackground within building materials, construction, or a related sector \nProven ability to lead and develop successful sales teams \nStrong track record of delivering sales growth and achieving targets \nCommercially aware with experience managing pricing and margins \nConfident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels \nSelf motivated with a proactive and results driven approach \nStrong organisational and analytical skillsThis Head of Sales role would suit a driven and ambitious sales leader looking to make a real impact within a dynamic and growing business.\n\nBH35998
