Mail Operative in Leeds - National Accounts, Office Angels\n\nMonday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00\n\n£13.45 per hour\n\nTemporay, ASAP START!\n\nRole Overview\n\nWe are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Mail Operative to support daily mailroom operations while delivering excellent service to internal stakeholders and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who can balance operational tasks with a professional, client-facing approach.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nMailroom Operations\n\nSort, distribute, and dispatch incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and courier deliveries accurately and efficiently.\nProcess recorded, special, and tracked deliveries, ensuring full compliance with company procedures.\nMaintain organised mailroom systems to ensure timely and secure handling of items.\n\nCustomer Service\n\nAct as a point of contact for internal clients, handling queries relating to deliveries, collections, and courier services.\nProvide a professional and friendly service, ensuring a positive experience for all staff and visitors.\nProactively communicate with departments regarding deliveries, delays, or issues.\n\nOffice Administration Support\n\nSupport administrative tasks such as logging deliveries, data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.\nAssist with courier bookings, meeting room setups (if required), and general office coordination.\nHelp maintain stock levels for stationery and mailroom supplies.\n\nLogistics & Coordination\n\nLiaise with external couriers and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.\nMonitor and manage outgoing shipments, ensuring correct documentation and packaging.\nSupport wider facilities or front-of-house teams where needed.\n\nCompliance & Organisation\n\nFollow company procedures for health & safety, security, and confidentiality.\nEnsure all packages are handled in line with compliance and tracking requirements.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.\n\nKey Skills & Experience\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nGood organisational skills with attention to detail.\nAbility to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.\nConfident using basic IT systems (email, tracking systems, MS Office).\nReliable, proactive, and team-oriented approach.\n\nApply Now with your up to date CV! \n\nOffice Angels is an employment agency.
