Nursery Assistants urgently required - Newcastle-under-Lyme\n\nAcademics are currently seeking dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistants to join our team to work across the Newcastle-under-Lyme. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAssisting in the daily care and supervision of children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the nursery's policies and procedures.\nEngaging children in age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors, to promote their physical, cognitive, and social development.\nSupporting the nursery staff in implementing planned educational programs, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.\nAssisting with meal and snack times, promoting healthy eating habits and good table manners.\nMonitoring and observing children, noting their progress, and reporting any concerns to the senior staff.\nMaintaining a clean and tidy environment, including sanitizing toys, equipment, and play areas regularly.\nAdhering to safeguarding procedures and maintaining a vigilant attitude towards child protection.Requirements:\n\nEarly Childhood Education qualification or a related field.\nPrevious experience working in a nursery or early years setting is desirable but not essential.\nA genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.\nKnowledge of child development theories and age-appropriate activities.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.\nStrong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.\nPatience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each child.\nA warm and caring personality, with a nurturing approach towards children.If you are passionate about early childhood education and want to make a positive impact on children's lives, we would love to hear from you.
