The company exports worldwide and continues to achieve year-on-year growth.\n\nWhat’s on offer\n\n * Working hours, Mon to Thu 8.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am – 2.00pm\n\n * Parking\n\n * 25 days holiday\n\n * Christmas Shutdown\n\nWhat will you do as a Purchasing Assistant\n\n * Generate, process POs based on production forecast\n\n * Monitor inventory levels and reorder points\n\n * Oversee stockouts and overstocks\n\n * Request PODs, resolve discrepancies, and handle damages\n\n * Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and lead times\n\n * Monitor OTIF performance\n\n * Run weekly stock and progress reports for management team\n\nWhat will you need to be a Purchasing Assistant\n\n * Manufacturing or engineering background would be an advantage\n\n * Happy to be based onsite\n\n * Purchasing or supply chain experience\n\n * Knowledge of using MRP and ERP systems\n\n * Experience negotiating prices and terms\n\n * Excellent communication skills and attention to detail\n\nJob Number 11066
