Senior Acoustic Consultant\n\nLocation: Manchester (1 day a week in office)\n\nSalary: £40,000 - £50,000 \n\nA medium-sized environmental consultancy is hiring for their next Senior Acoustic Consultant to join the team in the Manchester region.  Our client works across the UK within a range of sectors including residential, commercial and entertainment industries and has been involved in many exciting acoustic design projects including Europe’s tallest residential building! \n\nRequirements:\n\nProven experience in acoustic consulting, working for a UK based Consultancy.\nIn-depth knowledge of BB93, BS4142 & BS8233 and other relevant British Standards.\nStrong project management skills and experience leading complex projects from inception to completion.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders.\nDegree in Acoustics, Sound Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Job Responsibilities:\n\nConduct noise monitoring, modelling (using software such as CadnaA, ODEON or SoundPLAN), and analysis for various projects, including industrial, commercial, and infrastructure developments.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, ensuring professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.\nPrepare detailed technical reports and deliver recommendations to clients on noise control strategies and regulatory compliance.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Benefits:\n\nFlexible working.\nCompetitive salary.\nBonus schemes.\nClear career progression paths.\nOpportunity to work on a wide array of projects such as industrial, rural, urban & many more.Interested in this role or any others relating to Acoustic Consultancy?  Please apply to this advert or reach out to Charlotte Lavender at Aztrum for more information
